All that is required is that we get links from sites we want to link to and on a relevant page. A one-way link is desirable, a two-way link with mutual consent is agreeable, a three-way link is a grey area. We dont know who we are linking to and who is linking to us. So, if Connectcontent can safeguard this issue, $120 a year would be beneficial

Seems like a good idea to get around google hatred of link farms. However I simply can't afford to lay out $12 per month or $120 per year, as I'm not a commercial site.

I never heard of the site before. Sounds interesting i have to look it over and see if it helps with the links or has no effect on seo.

This is a response to Jane's comment.
A handful of relevant and quality comments are preferable to a huge number of random comments. I think that quality will get you better ranking than quantity. Does anyone else agree with that?

Looks like a good way to get more traffic to a site. Like the fact yoiu can comntrol anchor text and what sites you wnat to display.

Do you think that the fact that membership is capped will decrease the amount of relevant links you can get? For example, if I want links on sites relevant to moving companies, and there are only a couple members with relevant sites, I am not getting as much out of it as someone who is looking for links on internet marketing sites where there are 15 people who could offer those links. Does that make sense?

There is already nearly 100 people using the service, and it will be capped at the certain point. Point is that you still get targeted links to your content which gets you more search traffic.

I recently signed up for connect content after being referred there by a few online friends whom I trust very much. I find it very easy to use and there are lots of different niches, so just about anyone could find links for their sites in there. I just got a link to my dog information blog yesterday. It's definitely a resource I will be sticking with!

I think CC is a very cheap and powerful for what its worth. With $12/month, you can have proper anchored in content (not side wide) text link, which is awesome if you know how to use it properly.

2 of my niche blog have seen some decent increase in SERP since my two months membership.

I love using Connect Content. Not everyone who uses it is really good at using it, but the concept is a very good one. I like how you can control what anchors you are looking for and how many anchors you can get based upon the number of links you have given.

The one downside is that you have to wait for other to link to you, but that is the downside with any system that complies with Google's "rules." You only have to link to sites that you think provide quality content. This is just a way to get into a community where you can make some new online friends completely anonymously!
