pinging should not be necessary anymore, right?

All your new posts are seen automatically by Technorati. At least, that is what I am seeing since they updated their protocol on that.

I don't really understand why my posts aren't getting indexed though. Technorati sees my posts, but is not adding it to the search function. I know they don't add any blog to the search function, but I can't find anything on how to get your already claimed blog indexed in their search results.

Any ideas here?

I have found tagging & pinging help the most... And back links! Ultimately back links are what it all comes down to.

Claiming my blog took ages as well for some reason? Weeks for them to accept it, I guess this process must be manual?!

If you know other people with their own blogs you can ask them to write a post about your blog. This also helps your technocratic rank. Thank you for the idea.

The claiming process can take a long time. 12 days in my most recent case. Claim your blog on Technorati early.

I didn't know that I needed to register with Technorati first. I thought this was all automatic with my blog. This is great advice to update the avatar and photo for better click-thru.

Hay thanks for the post. I think regular posting and maintained your accounts can help your blog getting a high page rank .Tecnorati is under maintainence and I will suggest that to promote your blog , you need to search about blog promotions.
